MailTab for Outlook App Reviews

I dont reach to sinc. @Hotmail.it with Apples Mail, but just in two steps with MailTab for Outlook…Done Easy and very fast.

The entire experience of emailing has been overhauled with the use of this app. With one simple program, its possible to simultaneously check all of my accounts, quickly read mail, wipe out old emails that are always frustrating, and close the program. Its tucked neatly away on the status bar of my mac, where I can easily access it by using a "hot key" and just as easily forget about it. Speaking of which, do set a hot key shortcut for further ease of mind and positive experience.

Hotmail has gotten better over the years but MacOS really never had good support. This program bridges the gap and allows me to use Hotmail without having to go to the website or deal with it in mail.app as a POP client. Its behaved very well and doesnt take up much in the way of resources.

Please add support for those who use outlook through office 365. Seems like a great app i can see myself using regularly and sharing it with the couple hundred friends of mine who use office 365 too and are sick of going through the website to access mail on a mac when they get home. I gave you 5 stars because it seems like your not the type of developer who will let this rating slip away without taking what i said into consideration. I know a large group of NYC based sales excutives who would be real happy to see you add support for 365. thanks

I have gone to the support button at the top of this window and they dont have anything helping with MailTab for Outlook. I wanted to use it for looking at my corporate account that uses the Outlook Web App "webmail." but I am unable to connect to it. I will be deleting this free app since I will not be able to get any support for it therefore unable to use it at all.

I cant get the app to open. Nothing happens when I click, double click, right click, etc. Do I need to do something else before it will open?

using on MacBook Pro, OS 10.6.8. Works great, but needs better Help section or Quick Start. Didnt see the PC/Mobile site option, so by default (mobile) setting, it didnt provide all the options/settings like the regular mail client. Figured it out after a couple of days. Really a 4.9 star product.

This is a light, predictable, and stable app. If you want to do a quick of check of email without having to load a webpage or a mail client, this is an ideal app. One suggestion: Add file attachment functionality to this app, and it will be complete. I am very satisfied and impressed with Mailtab. (Specs: I am running Mac OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.4 w 8 Gig of RAM, on a 2012 MacBook w Retina Display) Well Done.

This app is helpful and quick but it is needs a feature to attach pictures and documents to email messages.

It is nice to have the tab and notification for this program although it doesnt always work the way that it should. They still have work to do.

Currently, all of the apps for Outlook work great! However, when I log into outlook from any computer (non-mobile device) there is absolutely NO history of recieving or sending mail. I get nothing. My inbox is empty, my spam is empty. I’ve had this account for almost 5 years, so there’s thousands missing. Interesting enough, they all show up on my apps. Wuzzz the dilii?

This may be a fabulous app for someone who is just creating a new email, but for those of you who believe this will work with your Office 365…DO NOT DISAPPOINT YOURSELF…it does not work with Office 365!!!

Tha app works great. However, is there an option to have two different outlook accounts?

finally I have a program to check my emails without using that difficult program that came with my Apple Mini. I just have one suggestion that would really help……Could you add a way to attach files to emails? Thanks!! Good program!!!!!

Very nice app… Personally I think it may even be better than Apple’s horrible mail client. Please add the ability to add attachments to email! extremely important!!

This app is an absolute joke. it not only will not work but you cannot ever remove it from your computer after you install it. Do not down load this app.

I tried to connect this app to my school’s email account that uses outlook and it didn’t do anything whatsoever. it told me my email doesn’t exist.

I think this app would be awesome for offline viewing of emails, if it actually synced to my university account. It repeatedly tells me that my email address doesn’t exists. To delete the app, just press the app button on the top row of keys (should be the 5th butth with the 6 squares on it), then press option. The apps will all begin to wiggle & have the X to delete in the upper left corner (just like how you delete apps on an iPhone). I was frustrated as to how to delete apps too & I found this out on a fluke lol. I hope this helps!!!

Mailtab for Outlook seems on the surface like its pretty much the same as gmail version which Ive been happy with, but this doesnt work as well. It crashes/suddenly quits regularly. My other big complaint is that Im not getting notifications for messages that go directly into folders for my account aliases. It does come in handy to do a quick check of emails when I dont have a browser window open, if it doesnt quit on me when switching from folder to folder.
