Does this app work? Yes Notifications do not work even if the setup is set with the proper sound tone. Pretty much useless otherwise…. Sorry. Dan

Wow. This looks like just what I want. Except it doesnt work. What a tease. I can sign in and see my Inbox. I can swipe left to mark as read, right to delete, group delete with the checkmark list on top right. BUT YOU CANT READ THE MESSAGES! Enter? Nope. Double-click? Nope. Click the half-a-hexgram on the top left that looks like a menu? Nothing. Click on "Visit MailTab for Outlook Support" and you go to a page with support for a dozen or so apps BUT NOT THIS ONE! The top right "+" is also non-functional. If it doesnt work on Lion 10.7.5, it shouldnt say that it does. If I hadnt got it from the App Store (which is mostly useless for Lion users), Id think Id been phished. Move along, folks. Nothing to see here.
This app gave me the worst virus that took hours to remove. Don’t download.
I don’t receive any notifications and when I want to delete messages i can’t select them all.
Definitely not as good as their MailTab for Gmail. I need two email addresses to be displayed. In order to do that, I have to go down a list to each, then down a list to the inbox. Then when I bring up an email, I may need to toggle between a web form and the email. When I do the toggle, the email goes back to the original list, and I have to go through it all again. That doesn’t happen with MailTab for Gmail. Please fix it!
I tried to set up with two different Outlook accounts, and both came up with the same error message about not being able to find my email addresses. I could, however, log into both of them via my browser directly afterward. I clicked on “Support” and was taken to their website, where one can find FAQ support for a lot of their other software products, but there is no support on Fiplab for “MailTab for Outlook Support.” I had the option of emailing them, but opted to not do so. I’m not interested in an app that’s going to require a work-around or restarting my computer or whatever when what I was looking for was supposed to be simple and easy and make Outlook a little more accessible on my computer.
I downloaded the tab. When I click on it there is nothing there. I don’t like how Mac is lumping all my emails together. I thought this would give me access to my outlook email. Very disappointed.
I actually just tried to install this app on my NEW laptop. It stalled my laptop and then wouldn’t delete. Finally after an hour, I got it to delete and now my laptop is back to working like normal. I’d say don’t take the chance with this.
I was able to download the app and set up an account on my laptop, but it would not let me open up any emails!
Nice and easy to use
the appilication is simple but good… but the tab for notification doesnt show when new email drop in.
Seems to work like its supposed to. I wish in a future update they can provide the ability to have multiple email accounts run with the program. I will continue using it for my main account but am looking forward to seeing if thatd even be possible to do.
This app does support multiple email addresses. Ive got my main hotmail account I log into, and two other alias addresses. This app shows messages for all three of my email addresses I use through outlook (two end in @hotmail & one with @ outlook) Great app!! Very useful.
its really fast …and doesnt have to open browser….its always there and will let u know about any email that u received in the same second
Its a nice little app that really soft my problem with mail app right now. Fast and easy. I think it doesnt have function to switch back to the mobile mode once changed to PC site. And it will be good if it can support more than one account. I am happy with it anyways.
This works extremely well. It does everything it says it will do. Stays out of site until needed and notifies when there is new mail Highly recommended…..:<)
The app does not provide notifications. Unless I manually open the tab, it will not "notify" me (turn blue and show a banner with sound) of new emails. It used to work properly earlier but something went haywire in a recent update. I tried reinstalling it, as well as uninstaling recently downloaded apps. Whats the purpose in a mailtab that does not notify? Convenience is compromised.
Doesn’t provide notifications. What is for, or what it does? Junk.
If you looking a program for Hotmail or samething like this, it is a useful and practice e-mail program. Very nice.
Cannot integrate with mails that are held in enterprise eddition - for example Outlook Web App.
